Met slechts 5 nieuwe titels een rustige maand. Echter zijn er een paar waar wij onze vingers bij aflikken en blij zijn dat we er ruim de tijd voor kunnen nemen. Met series als The Stormlight archive & Mistborn heeft hij menig fantasy fan voor lange tijd aan zich gebonden. Waar deze series meer traditionele high fantasy zijn slaat Brandon Sanderson met Sterrenvlucht een andere route in. 80 jaar geleden stortte een sterrenschip vol mensen neer op de planeet Detritus, die is omgeven door een eeuwenoude puinschil. De nakomelingen, die zichzelf de Rebellen noemen, leven in grotten maar worden desondanks toch onophoudelijk aangevallen door de Krell. De enige verdediging wordt gevormd door slimme jonge piloten die onbevreesd de lucht in gaan om de gemeenschap te beschermen. En piloot worden is altijd de ultieme droom van Spensa geweest.
